Can anyone help me about install OBI 12c on Windows Server 2012 and running as Windows Service? I want to run BI on server without dedicated user for BI services.
Maybe someone give me documentations or any others tutorial.
1.) Why insist on a Windows service?
2.) What's wrong a scheduled task which kicks off the product's original startup script via the Task Scheduler? That's how pretty much everybody who has to use Windows does it.
I have requirement about running OBI in Windows Server as 'service mode' and I want read about it, the advantages and disadvantages.
I still learn about install OBI and for me is something new.
Can you share some documentation about it?
