So as an Oracle employee you are saying that the OP should go against the certification matrix and install on an unsupported platform? Really?

    Hi Berg,

Thanks for your consideration, i am not going out of box for the given scenario, but try to find the root cause as you mentioned.let me check the given log for better understanding.

OP hadn't posted the log but the version and as of the version this thread becomes a simple showstopper.

Even if chance the install runs there can be no guarantee for his installation whatsoever. Windows 10 is unsupported. Better to install on a verified OS right away and prevent tons of follow-up issues.

    Thanks Berg,

As you mentioned it is better to follow up with certification matrix as mentioned by you earlier.Hopes that will be right option.

I smelled this coming by the paths in the screenshot

Honestly: install Virtualbox and setup a VMs with Oracle Linux. OBIEE will install in a "next, next, next" way as it's fully certified (OL7, didn't check for the 8 as it's a bit too new for now).

Your database can still be on your Windows as it's now, not a big deal: add a "host-only" network adapter to the VM and this will allow you to connect back to the database from inside the VM (of course you will have to deal with firewall both at Windows level and inside the VM).

That still doesn't make your installation supported.
