    So map them :-)

Thanks Christian. Is that a "drag & drop"?

I'm trying to find the instructions for it ...

Yes, drag & drop the appropriate attribute columns to the dimension

Ok, thanks. But, (warning: dumb question ) how do we know which column(s) to put in the dimension? The error only states that it isn't associated with any tables. It doesn't mention any columns specifically.

    Regards,

    Charles

  • Don't your 2 dimensions still have levels and columns inside? The columns you see there inside come from the respective logical table you need to map. The names are the same, so open all the levels of the dimensions, go column by column, find it in the logical table and drag & drop it back over in the dimension respecting the levels

    Hi Gianni,

Thanks. But, I can see that both dimensions only have 1 level (grand total level). I don't see any other levels, columns.

  • These are the 2 dimensions in my RPD.

Ahh, ok. I do not have any of those. I only have the grand total for each of them, respectively. Maybe we can trade RPDs (jk).

  • That RPD I got it from MOS, you can maybe get a copy too so you have it locally

On MOS search for "Patch 25813088". It is referenced in https://blogs.oracle.com/biapps/biapps_lift_shift_to_oac  , so it's used to test a lift & shift of OBIA to OAC (cloud). I don't know how it compares to a normal install of OBIA but I guess it's a good reference for things when not having an OBIA around

PS: I would definitely not suggest any copy&paste from that RPD to yours. But you can open them side by side and compare names and properties for things like these 2 dimensions you are missing.

    Hi, @Gianni Ceresa, @Christian Berg

Support had notified me that there is a bug during this particular step (RPD upgrade) in the 10.1 -> 10.2 upgrade. They are researching further ... possibly looking for a patch.

Thanks for the help thus far! I'll circle back with updates ...
