Obiee 12c Repository Variable Refresh Problem
Hi,
We use following obiee version in our company. Our problem: repository variables is not updated automatically. This is not for all days but some days. For example, today this problem occurred.
Our repository variables = rv_yesterday (which includes yesterday value, including select statement from dual), it returns two days ago's value. Why this is happened? Do you have any idea? Is it a bug?
12.2.1.3.0 (Build BIPS-20170820114118 64-bit)

Hi Dilek,
search here in the forum. There is a thread started more than a year ago which was fully about that and there has been some patches released. Apparently it has been fixed by one of those patches. Can’t remember the exact version it was about.

It's quite funny that our repository variable also just got stuck on the same day.
Anyways the thread provided by Joel should give you an estimate overview of the problem and you will see that there is no real fix for it so far.

Not exactly true. We have installed patch 27766951 on 12.2.1.4 and for us this is working fine now.

Yes our system is also working correctly after this patch. Haven't had any issues since. Applying it should solve your issues
