Warnings while Starting OBIEE after upgrade to OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0.

Hi All,

We upgraded to OBIEE 12.2.1.4.0 from 12.2.1.1.0. After upgrade, services are getting started and users are able to access OBIEE. But we notice few warnings while starting BI server. Full text is attached. Let me know if any else see the same warnings in this version.

OBIEE Version : 12.2.1.4.0

OS Version : Windows Server 2012 R2

    I'm having exact the same problem after upgrading from 12.2.1.2 to 12.2.14.  Just created an SR with oracle.  Will see what they have to say.

    Have you resolved the issue?

    Hi All,

    Update received from Oracle Support.

    NMProcess has pointed me to OPSS - Unable Start Managed Server using Node Manager getting java.sql.SQLException: Invalid Oracle URL specified exception in Admin Server ( Doc ID 2403577.1 )
    and collaborated with OPSS team.

    The team reviewed the warnings, they are just warnings, several of them are expected with some configurations.

    The specific ones for LibOVD would only be a concern if you are using LibOVD, and even then they are stating a customizations aren't found and default values are being utilized.
    As for the audit log entries.... these are common when the auditing frameware hasn't been configured, or no audit entries have been collected.

    You could probably get rid of the messages by lowering the logging level of the Weblogic loggers, however ultimately there isn't anything to resolve.
