Hi Experts,

We have a report from same subject area having 8 union report combination.

When we are trying to run the report (final format of report is in pivot table) is getting error out.

Error Codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:U9IM8TAC:U9IM8TAC:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P

State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. (HY000)

State: HY000. Code: 43113. [nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS. (HY000)

State: HY000. Code: 43119. [nQSError: 43119] Query Failed: (HY000)

State: HY000. Code: 59107. [nQSError: 59107] Set operation failed due to incompatible sort order. (HY000)

I have tried to google it and and learnt that we have do some workaround with nqsconfig.ini file and feature parameter, but its not working.

However, when I am trying to convert it into the table format its working fine.

OS platform:- Solaris

OBI version:- Oracle Business Intelligence 12.2.1.3.0

Does anyone has any suggestion for this.

Thanks & Regards,

Abhi

Take a look at this in 'My Oracle Support' - note you need an Oracle Account to log in->

OBIEE 11g - Union Report Fails With '[nQSError: 59107] Set operation failed due to incompatible sort order' (Doc ID 1573959.1)

    Hello Robert,

We have created the Oracle SR related to  OBI set operation failed due to incompatible sort order.

However thank you for your kind support.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Abhi

Thanks - I am okay with not giving me answered, but can you at least set your question to 'assumed answered' so others do not waste their time trying to resolve it for you?

    thanks,

    Robert.

Also, if you wanted a workaround then you could recreate the union functionality using an opaque view.

Is there any solution or workaround for this. I am not able to apply union in simple OTBI report. Getting this error:

Error Codes: OAMP2OPY:ARTR85DSAssertion failure: at line 1021 of reportquery.cppMessage: Adding filters to SQL reports not supported.
