Hidden filter in dashboard URL

Hi
Is there a way to have a Hidden filter in dashboard URL to filter on certain products for example so whatever value I have in the URL filter then the report (s) will display only that product value?
It seems other BI tools outside of Oracle such as Microsoft can do that, I was watching a video for Microsoft and the formula that they include in their url is this: ?filter=<Table>/<Field> eq 'value'
Thanks
Joe

Have a look at go_url, you can pass as many filters as you need, and please no 'M' word - they will wash your mouth out with soap and water...
The link is a little old, but the principal remains the same -> https://gerardnico.com/dat/obiee/obips/url_filter

Sorry to be blunt and not to make too fine a point, but really not sure why an Oracle employee goes off watching Microsoft youtube videos rather then reading Oracle's own product documentation.

I know I know I'm grumpy for a Friday, but...really? It's like nobody inside Oracle gives a single you-know-what about this product suite anymore.

LOL I just googled it and the first link with a video came up was for M---we need to work more on our SEO and I need to know more about OBIEE....I am still reading what you provided and still need to try it...before I reply.

^--- THIS. So much this. It's pretty frustrating to constantly get Excel results in the top 5 for almost any google query

Sorry for my lack of knowledge...I went to Edit Dashboard > Dashboard Properties > Filters and Variables and picked my prompt https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/biee/BIEUG/prompts.htm#BIEUG1171 ...but how would I send someone an URL with a filter in the url for specific value?
