Clear cache by button in Oracle BI 11

Hi everybody,
i'm quite new to oracle BI and its inner working.
I've read that it's possible to clear the cache with command "call SAPurgeAllCache();" .
Another method it's set time cache on table in physical layer (Admin Tool --> Repository).
Is there a way for the end user to clear the cache for a single dashboard by pushing a button on said dashboard?
best regards

If you are going to let user's manage your cache, why have cache? You need to have a very strict caching strategy

If you created two versions of the same analysis and used the advanced tab on one version to always bypass cache and gave the user an action link to open either cached either cached or non-cached then you could....
But I suspect if you did you would find out that your users always went for the 'live' data, there is not a user out there who will be satisfied with data that is even 5 minutes ago.
+++++ to Thomas - cache policy should be corporately applied not end user determined.

Thank you for the acknowledgement, you are most welcome, and courtesy is always appreciated here!
Word from the wise - change your display name to something more user friendly - aliases are fine if you don't want to use your real name but forum users are more likely to respond to those who don't stick to the default number names!
