Obiee 12c multiple instances

Hi every one, I have two stand alone installations running on different machines, I did the installation using different paths, users and ports, and everything related to it runs on SAN disks. Here is the thing, they are stand alone because they were not suppose to have a dissaster recovery strategy, but now it turns out they do. I wonder if it is supported to run two obiee instances on the same machine, I know is possible because I already tested, exporting and importing the disks from one node to another and starting the instance and it works, there is hardware NBL which has a resource looking on one ip on the defined port and if it does not answer it goes the the ip of the other node on the same port to look for the services. But, I'm concern that in case of any issues Oracle would say it is not supported.

Hi ... does this note help you (or, clarify Oracle's position on this)?
OBIEE 12c: How To Bind The OBIEE Components To A Specific Listen Address (Doc ID 2193508.1)

... possibly, this has been discussed already:

Thank you so much Charles M, in fact both replies are useful, first one because it helps me to bind obiee to a virtual IP which I'll move between nodes, and second one so be sure Oracle supports it

Excellent, glad it helped! Go ahead and keep this open if you want some more information from the community, otherwise feel free to mark the replies as helpful or correct to complete the thread.
