OBIEE 12.2.1 - How can I stop a new Analysis from running automatically?

Hi

I have created a new analysis and added it to a Dashboard together with a Dashboard prompt.

Is there an easy way to stop the new analysis from running as soon as the dashboard is opened before you have had a chance to enter in the filters required?

There are many ways to get there, one is what Robert posted above.

You can also look in the dashboard properties and check the checkbox "Prompt before opening" for that page (as posted in the thread linked above).

Sure, just have a default to one of your filters that will never return data.
