Date prompt in OBIEE analysis

Question

Hello,

I need to create a date prompt as From Date: and To Date: for the date column with default values as blank.  how to create the variable prompt with default blank value but when the user wants to select, they should be able to select using the calendar.

Hi ,

Please find the below solution,

* Select New > Dashboard Prompt

* Select the Subject Area

* Click on Symbol it will ask what type of prompt you must create select COLUMN PROMPT

* Select date column from the Dimension table

* Add the following Highlighted settings,
