Hi everyone

When we edit or create a new dashboard prompt (column prompt) we can add the "Choice List Values" but when we want to select specific default values the members do not load in both panels on the left (Heading = "Available") and right (Heading = "Selected"). The following message is displayed: "Loading..." but no members are displayed.

Has someone experienced this before and have a possible solution at hand.

We have reloaded metadata and cleared cache and restarted both the BI Server and Presentation Services components but this does not resolve the issue.

Thanks

Johan

Can you create a test analysis with just this column that you're using for the dashboard prompt to see what happens? How many rows does it return? How many distinct rows?

    Hi Joel

I have created a new dashboard prompt and only added one column prompt. I add 3 members in the Choice List Values section and when I go to Default Selcetion and selecte Specific Values and then try to expand the hierarchy on the left (Available pane) it does not expand.

As mentioned, can you create an analysis with this column only? How many records does this return in the analysis? The rationale behind this is to see if OBIEE actually returns the data properly before delving into the issues with the prompt.

I created an analysis of this hierarchy column. The first parent that I am attempting to expand and not showing anything has 11 children. The total list of this specific hierarchy has 811 members.

So not a data volume issue then. Have you tried clearing browser cache? Have you tried this on another browser?

I have BI Server and Presentation Services and reloaded metadata. I have also tried this in Microsoft Edge and Firefox and this issue still occurs.
