Configuring Kerberos SSO for OBIEE 12c
Hello Team,
I am planning to implement Kerberos SSO configuration. I have a few queries can some help me with that. My OBIEE 12.2.1.2.0 server (Linux Redhat) is up and running without any issue.
1. My server hostname contains a hyphen "-" symbol like (testserver-231). Does it impact during SSO configuration? I read somewhere that the hostname doesn't contain any special character?
2. Any challenges will occur during this integration due to the hostname issue?
Thanks

My suggestion would be to try it out. I can’t see a hyphen being an issue. I’ve personally had it configured on servers with hyphens in the host name.
These instructions in this 3 part white paper are very detailed.

I believe you have succeeded without any issue on your servers
My actual hostname likes as below.
testserver-231.domain.dc.ap.local
Based on your confirmation will try it out. I am referring to this document only.

It should not be an issue.
