Not able to set Permission in OBIEE12c

Hi,
I am trying to grant privilege for one of the subject area with weblogic user, but I am getting below error -
Error saving security account /system/privs/generalprivs/Global Answers.
Can you please let me know if I am doing anything wrong?
Version -OBIEE 1.2.1.4

Are you doing this in catalog manager? is it in the front end catalog view? Which permissions are you changing and on which object?

Thanks for your reply.
I am following below steps --
1> Login to analytics with weblogic (Admin user)
2> Click on Administrator link.
3> Click on Manage Privilege link.
4> Click on Subject Area Permission.
4> Click on Add.
5> Select one of the user.
6> Click on permission denied.
7>Click ok.
8> Then ok again.
Pop up comes in with the error message.

What kind of catalog is this? New one? Migrated? Custom? OBIA?

We have recently Migrated from 11g to 12c.
It is standalone OBIEE installation (without OBIA)
It is working fine with 11g catalog, but not working with 12c.

There's a chance that your catalog got corrupted. Did you migrate using the migration tool or manually using command lines?
