Hello Experts,

My journey to OBIEE is new so please pardon me for any basic query:

what does writable option offer here?

and is this time dimension is default dimension table at BMM layer (I have not created any thing as such and seeing by default):

    Keep in mind you generally always have a "Help" button on most screens of the RPD.

    In this case you would see:

    Select Writeable to enable write back for this column. See "Enabling Write Back On Columns" for more information.

    There isn't a default time dimension, you have to set it yourself. As I always set a time dimension before to try to use timeseries functions, I always only see my own time dimension there.
