Hi, when i move reports, saved decimal settings are not moving. can anyone tell me where those setting would save for reports?
This is weird I could move the format and could see it, I use obiee 11.1.1.7.1 using the archive and desarchive option and i dont have any problem, could you give me the obiee version or could say me what kind of process or actions do you do to move your objects?

I'm not sure if you have saved the data type of your columns as a default format.
If yes, then please check /system/metadata/_datatype_formats (system-wide default for the data type) or check the subject area specific object (for system-wide default for the specific column)
It would be better to have them recreated in the target environment.

I would suggest to check the file names starting with subject area name under folder. They keep your data formats
catalog\<CatalogName>\root\system\metadata
