Description

Transparent Partitioning with both OAC Essbase and EPBCS as sources to allow virtual real time merging of multiple EPBCS instances when the instances are spread across multiple geographic data centers.    

Use Case and Business Need

 virtual real time merging of multiple EPBCS instances when the instances are spread across multiple geographic data centers for performance allowing a consolidated view and analysis of the forecast or plan.

More details

Users have to either download data from multiple instances and merge in excel or wait a few hours for conventional data transfer process to complete and build a consolidated view in OAC.

    We will pass the request to the Essbase team as the strategic direction for Essbase is the 19c marketplace edition (which BTW allows transparent partitions). This area is focused on Analytics. 

    As for EPBCS, since there is no access to the backend cube, this seems to be blocked by that limitation. In any case, feel free to discuss with the EPBCS team (can't speak for them).
