Description

When importing a project you get a warning that something will be overwritten, but it doesn't say what and there is no chance to rename.

 

Use Case and Business Need

Import feature can accidentally overwrite datasets used in other projects and break projects in unexpected ways.

 

More details

Issue is most common when developing or updating datasources offline.

    More information about which data sets and data flows have conflicting names (and which projects they are associated with) would be very useful. A feature for future consideration would be a tool which programatically compares data sets and reports on differences (similar to the tools which compare tables and schemas in Oracle database.)
