Read-Only filter => a filter that cannot be disabled, removed or changed by an end-user but by the developer only (option for canvas filters and visualization filters)

Hidden Canvas filters => add the "Show Filter" option for Canvas filters as well (this option is now available only for visualization filters)

Use Case and Business Need

This option already exists for Visualization filters and it would be good to have it for Canvas filters as well.

It is indeed a valuable addition to be made. It is unproductive and not visually great to have a filter at the top of your report that should not be changed. We could get some valuable space bi being able to hide it. Also for the end-user that not always understand (neither should) the "why" of the filter to be there.

Hiding the filter bar has been requested by a customer who is currently in a trial. Needs to be able to set filters on an Subject Area sourced project where the

filters are always fixed.

I suppose the features I requested are available if you use Present canvases and this is why you consider this idea delivered.

I was actually asking for these features in Visualize mode.

Hidden Canvas => filters at right click add the "Show Filter" option for Canvas filters as well (this option is now available only for visualization filters)

Read-Only filter => a filter that cannot be disabled, removed or changed by an end-user >> should have this option at right click for canvas filters and visualization filters

Let me know if I should raise another ER for my request.
