OBIEE 11.1.1.7 Windows Server 2012R2 - Admin Tool takes long to load

Question

Hello,

Our BI instance is installed on a box with Windows Server 2012R2. The Administration Tool is taking 20 - 30 minutes to load.

Is there a known fix for this issue or some workaround.

This is a common issue and as @Thomas Dodds has already pointed out - the admin tool is not supported with 2012 R2
