Hi,


How can I avoid the navigation from Country-> State-> City -> Postal -> drill in ?


Problem: When I click on the bar (as measure on Country) it takes me to State ->City -> Postal -> drill in report

Actual Requirement: Graph analyses By Country -> Drill in report

Setups followed:

Created a Graph analyses in OBIEE no. of Accounts “By country”

Subject area : CRM Customer and contact real time

Please refer attached document with screenshot.

    you start with Country and want to click and navigate to another analysis that has country details or perhaps state details, and you don't want to just keep drilling in that one report? ... then open the column properties of Country and change the default interaction to Navigate to BI Content (can do it on header/value /both) then you pick the analysis you want to send the user to.  Keep in mind the receiving analysis needs the same columns prompts as the intersection of the data point you've clicked in the original chart/graph.

    But Still it is navigating to when I click on Country -> State -> City -> postal -> Drill in.

    if you want all the columns to go to the other report then you have to set them all to behave the same way ... my advice is have ONE column that is used to drive the action - you can have multiple actions:

    Country      -> State Report
                      -> City Report

                      -> Postal Report

                      -> Additional Country Details

    Simply I try to navigate Country -> Drill in Report

    "# of Account " -> Properties -> interaction -> Naviagte to BI content -> drill in report

    Drill in : filters are Country is Prompted

    But I am not able to achieve my requirement because as I observe Country report it is navigating to State Report then following City like that which create a problem.

    You have to remove the default action (drill) on the columns that are interfering...
