Data Viz - multi-language support for data set column names

Hi, we are trying to modernise customer dashboards by producing visualisations and home pages using Oracle Data Viz. However we are receiving push-back on this strategy because Data Viz does not have the same multi-language potential as BI Dashboards.

The key requirement is the ability to translate all column names (and not just the column names coming from a Subject Area that is configured for translation).

Therefore, if we create our own custom calculations in a project or create our own data sets, could we please have a facility to translate the column names into the user's chosen language?

Use Case and Business Need

Unable to roll-out dashboards to a global user community. Only alternative is to create duplicate versions of projects/canvases with captions in different languages, which is not a scalable option.

We have the same problem when we are using Subject Area as data set (configured for translation), but we can't translate custom texts in DV project with "Export Captions" utility as we are using in all Dashboards and analysis.

@Benjamin Arnulf-Oracle @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle This idea is wrongly in status "Delivered". I assume, this is because of misunderstanding of what has been requested in this Idea (unfortunately @Antony Heljula is not that active in OA community to proof my assumption - but possibly he will comment - Tony ?). This idea is about having the option for translation of data set/data set columns (similarly as it is for presentation layer objects in RPD) - and this has not been delivered. The only multi-lingual support in DV is translation of "captions" (strings) in DV workbooks. So I am going to create Idea for providing translation support for data sets (meaning data set columns).
