    Hi Marcelo,

    Thanks for the submitting the idea. I can see the regular expression capability being useful in the expression filters, with a similar syntax to this:

    REGEXP_LIKE (first_name, '^Ste(v|ph)en$')

    Or where you thinking of something more complicated. Some examples of how you would imagine this being used would be helpful.

    Copying the regexp_line syntax used by oracle db seems enough to me. Thanks.
