Description (Required): Request to create user defined parameters

Use Case and Business Need (Required): OAC equivalent of parameters in Tableau. Ability to add your own parameters, increases flexibility to the end user experience. Our business users have created P&L reports comparing Actual results to Plan, Forecast, or Reforecast scenarios. It would be great to allow the end user to select one of those scenarios from a parameter list and have the results (calculations) update from the selection (because the parameter is used as a variable in the calculations and columns). This avoids having to create separate worksheets for every scenario iteration. Also, parameters can be used to select different ranges of numbers that would be used in calculations and update automatically as the user switched from one value to another. The main benefit of the parameters is to streamline development so that you don't have to create numerous canvases to accomplish a different user selection.
