Hello,

As you know, when logging is setup correctly, you can go to Manage Sessions to see the log of the analysis in OBIEE. You also should be able to go to Enterprise Manager, search Server Logs and search for "sending query to database" to see the same log as it is display in the nqsquery log.

I've noticed that I am getting no results at all when searching in EM. I've verified logging is setup correctly as I see it in Manage Sessions and the NQSQuery log. A couple things noted below.

In the Server Log search page I guess we can call it, if you click the dropdown next to Selected Targets, you should see 1 Oracle BI Server target. If I click the TargetLogFiles icon, I get a long error as seen below.

Ok - let's close that and go back to the selected targets dropdown. If I click 'Add' to add more targets (just poking around troubleshooting), I then noticed all of my targets are at a Pending status.

I am a consultant so I have access to multiple client OBIEE environments, so I go to my other 11.1.1.9 environments at totally different locations and noticed the same behavior in ALL of these as well. I then hope to a 11.1.1.7 environment and I am able to search all Trace files as well as see that the targets above have a state of UP.

I've research and have found a couple posts with no resolutions. Any help would be great.

J

Can anyone confirm they see the same issue in their 11.1.1.9 environment? I'd like to know if it's a bug or something I missed during configuration.

    Thanks
