Add "Default Value" for OAC DV filters that appear on top of visualizations

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of): Postmedia Network
Description (Required): please consider adding a "Default Value" property to filters that appear on top of DV canvases, allowing to use all the options we see today in a classic "dashboard prompt". i.e. the default value can come from "specific values", "server variable", "variable expression", "logical SQL result", (etc?).
Actually, it would be nice to have ALL the features today available on a dashbaord prompt. Advanced choices for List Of Values, ability to set up a variable, to be used in visualizations, Ability to change the Label, and so on.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
Imagine a DV that will show monthly sales. The DV has filters for Fiscal Year(s), Quarter(s) and Month(s). We want to open the DV with the filters set as Current_Fiscal_Year, Current_Fiscal_Quarter, and no values pre-selected for months, which means "show all months in this fiscal quarter".
For this we should be able to use the syntax: VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Current_Fiscal_Year)
The intention is: the DV will show up populated with dynamic default values, then the user will be allowed to modify the selection; whereas today, the fiscal year is "hard-coded to F2022" and so on.
Note: I realize an expression filter on the grammar panel can accept a server variable, but then our end users cannot change it.
Thanks,
Marcelo

You can now achieve this with the extended functionality of "parameters" as per July 2023 update
