    Hi Sachin,

This can be achieve .You can download the pareto chart from Oracle Analytics Extensions Library from below url.

After download just got to OAC console and upload the Extension From console-->Extension and refresh.

then Pareto Visual be available as well in DV.

I have tried using it and as it is a custom plugin, export is not working properly. Also if you put your canvas height to grow and try adding more paretos in a single canvas, It is not scrolling the graphs.

Attaching some screenshots here to explain the problem.

sachindhandhukia, the custom pareto chart plugin does not work properly as we experience the same issues in Verizon.

OAS really needs to have a built-in pareto chart in DV.

I completely agree with @sachindhandhukia, addition to paretos on the DV side will be great help to us as well. I hope Oracle considers this issue

I totally agree with @sachindhandhukia I am also facing the same issues with my client and Pareto is definitely needed on DV side.

Agree with the others that it would be much better to have a built in pareto chart as I'm experience similar issues/limitations with the custom plugin.

Our organization could use the pareto chart as well. I'm not showing it as part of the 3rd party apps anymore https://www.oracle.com/in/business-analytics/data-visualization/extensions/ Did this get removed?

  • The Pareto chart is now available in DV using layers. You can see examples using Auto-Insights:

@Benjamin Arnulf-Oracle Hi Ben, I would say, that what you are recommending to use (something like pareto chart using different visualization - overlay chart) is more a workaround than a final solution. I think, there should be native pareto chart visualization , where you will be able to define all "components" via grammar panel (and not have to "cheat" it by some more complicated workaround) - to be able to compete with tools like PowerBI/Tableau. Thanks for taking my opinion into consideration.

  • @Michal Zima Thank you for your feedback. It makes sense and I think you bring up a good point that a native visualization would help bring all components and customizations via the grammar panel. We are doing currently an audit on new visualizations. I will add your comment for the Pareto and include the current votes. Hopefully, we find more users to vote for this idea.
