Connection to Denodo
Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of): RTBF
Description (Required): We have tried to use the JDBC connection to Denodo but this was not completely functionnal (reload fails in error)
Use Case and Business Need (Required): Since our data architecture is based on Denodo, we need to access those views. Without a quick resolution, this could lead to the abandon of Oracle Analytics.

Hello @Jean-Pierre Hoedenaeken ,
From where are you trying to connect Denodo, is it from OAC DV? Please post the errors you are finding with.
Also, Please file in a Product Support SR. https://support.oracle.com/
Did you try connecting Denodo using OData drivers? Odata drivers are also supported, Please try that.
Odata rerence from denodo blogs:
You could reach out to your Oracle Account Manager for Assist on this.
https://www.oracle.com/corporate/contact/
We have 100+ connecters from OAC. Our motto is no data left behind.
Thanks

Hello Bala,
We are indeed using the JDBC connection in DV (but it would also be a plus to use the Denodo views in the RPD with a RDG connection).
We have already create a SR six months ago (SR 3-29662967251 : Unable to reload a JDBC Dataset) but with a poor "unsupported database" answer !
Even as part of the "Analytics leaders" or with the assistance of our local Oracle contacts we never get a sign toward a resolution of that major issue for us.
Best Regards.
Jean-Pierre

Any comments on the open JDBC connection failure to OAC DV? @Alan Lee - Oracle-Oracle

Since the SR is aged and closed and attachments purged, I am unable to see the details of the error. I'd suggest opening a new SR and clearly indicate that the Generic JDBC feature is being used. Having said that, there are limitations on support for drivers that have not been certified. However, we can make an assessment if this is a general capability issue that is unrelated to the specific driver.

Can anyone please answer if we can connect to Fusion Cloud or not?
If yes how we can directly connect to Fusion Cloud?

@User_374X9 Fusion Cloud is supported: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsds/oracle-applications-connector.html#GUID-B39E3256-0143-45F7-9D13-D92DFBBAE14D
May I suggest that you move this conversation to a new entry for further questions as the idea on this thread is related to Denodo.
