Stop automatic data reload after filter selection in OAC DV

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
24915361 - CSI lié à OCI (Credit Agricole SA)
Description (Required):
In OAC DV, when we select a value in a filter, all the data instantly reloads in the canvas. Instead, we would like to have a button to reload the data and no automatic reload, so that we could first select the desired values on multiple filters, and then reload the data.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
We are building financial dashboards for the ExCom of a major french bank. We display several indicators related to financial analysis. The user has a variety of point of view available, with a total of seven filters on some canvas. Sometimes, he has to change several filters to get to the point of view he needs.
Each time the user selects a value, the data reloads and he has to wait for the end of the reload to select another value. We would like to stop that automatic reload, and instead display a button that would allow the user to reload the data when he finishes his selections.

Can you turn off Auto Apply Filters Off in Filter Bar Menu and see if this suffices your requirement or not.

Hi @Cyprien Bariant , There is also an option - 'Auto Apply Data' at the bottom right corner of the canvas.
If this is enabled then all the selected filter requests get added up in a queue. And will be applied only when you click on this option after selecting all filters.
Although this is not a very clean work around and I would also want to see an 'Apply' button for better usability. So had created a similar idea - https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/665105/apply-button-option-in-dv-canvas-prompt-filter-selections

Hello Jahnavi, the problem is that the option "Auto Apply Data" only works in editing mode. I would like that option to work for the users. Though, I looked at the enhancement request you created and the dashboard filter with an "Apply" button seems to do the work, thank you ! As my enhancement request is the same as yours, mine can be removed
