Hi Techies,

I am facing a problem while formatting the report.

After the report development i am unable to format the layout as it contains filters and prompts.

Is there any way out that with out deleting the filters and prompts, I can edit the report....

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Regards.

    Hi Bishnu,

What is the actual issue you are facing while formatting the report ? It would be helpful if you could attach the screenshot of the issue.

    Thanks

+1 to Ebin . Your problem description is super vague so hard to tell you anything.

So you seem to have several issues there because apart from what the browser is throwing here I see an OBI error message in the background as well.

First things first: has your OBI GUI been customized? If yes - what has been changed? And in general: have you tried with a different browser already? Chrome should be fine but just to be sure...

You'll probably be able to debug the source of this using F12 browser developer tools. As Christian mentioned, this is more than likely a skin customisation issue.

Chrome doesn't always behave ... after all it's a browser like the rest!

    Hi,

The background error is there because i am applying filters in the criteria part.

but I am unable to figure out why the skin customization is not working??

I dont think i is a browser issue

Well most likely because the skin customization screwed up the GUI.

And as for "i dont think"....better verify and be sure.

Where I've done developments in Chrome in the past, if you want to edit a table/narrative/etc but the report isn't bringing any data back, it brings this error. Either set your report so that it brings back default values in the filters area or change your browser and fix the issue.
