Include Hide functionality of Top Filter in Report in FAW
Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
KPN B.V.
Description (Required):
When building a Report as Author in FAW you can include "top filter" on your report for filtering options.
Some options are available for the working of this functionality, for example disable or pin to all canvasses.
However, we think it would be valuable if there was an option which is HIDE filter; resulting in applying a filter to a canvas/multiple canvasses but a CONSUMER cannot SEE or EDIT this particular filter.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
There are multiple use cases where AUTHORs want to supply reports to consumers which are PRE filtered on certain elements and cannot be seen/altered.
Also this can be used to filter out sensitive organisational entities, without the need of implementing it through Security Context.
Current analytical environment (POWERBI based) does have this capability, so it is expected by end-users.
Enhancement Request / Service Request:
Include Hide functionality of Top Filter in Report in FAW

Hi Joost. You can hide filters in the Presentation mode of the workbook. The workbook needs to be shared in 'Read-Only' and 'Viewer' mode with the users.

We will do some testing, but this appears to be a solution. Thanks

Here is the documentation for the feature. It is included in the March 2023 update of OAC, so if you do not see it in your FAW environment yet, you should soon.
