Hi Everyone,

I have installed and configured the 12c Oracle Bi Publisher server and working fine. Only the issue is when I try to login xmlpserver. http://ip:port/xmlpserver, its taking the 3Mins to login the server.

System details are here:

OS : Redhat 7.2

Oracle BI publisher : Oracle BI Publisher 12.2.1.1.0

CPU : 2

Memory : 7.5GB useable(7.2GB)

Present load of the server

CPU 2%

Memory 98%

Same time, I have installed the one more 12c Oracle Bi Publisher server and working fine. there is no such login issue. when I try to login xmlpserver. http://ip:port/xmlpserver, its taking the 2 to 3 seconds to login the server. but it has the 8GB memory(Useable 7.7GB)

OS : Redhat 7.2

Oracle BI publisher : Oracle BI Publisher 12.2.1.1.0

CPU : 2

Memory : 8GB useable(7.7GB)

Present load of the server

CPU 2%

Memory 98%

Note: both installations are having the same setup and changes in parameters.

Can you pls help me out in this problem.

Can you try to bounce the environment completely .. increase loglevel and start all services and check it out ?

Its a Default LDAP.

can you provide bipublisher.log from both the instances and also the login date - time stamp.

I have bounced the Bi publisher Application and Server. Still I am seeing the issue in login.

Check what your catalog type is .. is it OBEIE or BI Publisher filesystem ..

how to give the permission for the Users folders in Bi publisher applications?

Hello,

DO both installs land on the same page after login ? meaning once logged in what is the page that is displayed My Dashboard or HOME ?? etc ??

because looking at the log file seems like its trying to run some report and hence taking time....

Looking at the error code check the following Does user have access to My Folders , access and saving files --as the error code(U9KP7Q94) indicates ??
