Connecting BICS to non-oracle db
Can we connect BICS to a non-oracle database that is in the cloud (AWS, Azure etc) or even on premises ?

You can attach BICS to an Oracle DB on premise with the Remote Data Connector
You may upload data from various source with Data Sync
I know about remote data connector. My question was about connecting BICS to NON-ORACLE database running in cloud such as on AWS or Azure.
With RDC i know you can connect BICS to a non-oracle db that is on-premises.
As of now BICS can query either the oracle dbaas or a remote db with the remote data connector.
the target db pointed by RDC can be one between Db2, oracle db, olap, sql server and teradata as per documentation
If you got the answer to your question you can maybe close the thread? It will help others with same/similar questions, right now it's still This question is Not Answered.
Hello, Last year, I have raised an SR to Oracle about connecting Oracle BICS to third-party cloud databases (like AWS, etc.). They confirmed that it is not available.
