Hi everyone. I hope you are all well.

I have another problem with BI Publisher in OBIEE. I have setup a BI Data Model (with a bursting definition) and a Report. This time this report data model has a joined link between a Hyperion Essbase data set and an OBIEE one.

I have then attempted to run a report job using the Use bursting definition option selected.

We have successfully got this to work without the data model link. Also, the data model returns sample data in the correct structure so that we can make the report.

I have removed URLs for security. I don't have full administration rights. Please could anyone help? Thanks

Thank you for responding.

What do you mean when you say template.

I am working on OBIEE BI Publisher rather than XML publisher in Oracle E-business Suite.

In OBIEE BI Publisher the report layout works fine as we have sample data generated from the data model.

Therefore, all looks like it works apart from when I try to schedule it to burst I get this message.

Did you attached your template to report? what is the output type?

This error comes when Bursting program is not able to find desired output file to send

I found it. It did relate to the bursting definition and was because I used the wrong layout / report name in one of the parameters.
