Hi,
I'm unable to generate a PDF output for my BIP report template . I can view the report in the interactive view however I'm unable to generate any other output format (PDF, XML...).
I tried using an RTF template, it does work on word and generates the PDF with a data sample, but creating a report by importing the template in BIP doesn't work and I can't even view it.

tell me first , how you created template for the report ? is it RTF template or default bi publisher Layout ?
when you view in PDF output what is the error or message you are getting ? Thanks

Basically, I tried both, first I created a bi publisher layout, i could only view it as an interactive report, trying to generate PDF doesn't work it just starts charging and then nothing, even after 30 minutes. So I tried generating a template using the BIP add in, using the data sample works and I can view it but when importing it to BIP it doesn't open!

Sounds like a browser issue ...

Can you change the browser ? are you able to upload template to bip server ? only PDF is not generated or other outputs too ?
please upload xml and layout ?
