As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter. I've just created a map with mockup data based on Dublin, Ireland and managed to get pretty accurate results with just columns of "Street Address", "City", and "Country". I tested against Longitude and Latitude and it was pretty much spot on. I don't think specific column names are required. I imagine with a dataset of Canadian addresses you will have Street Address, City, Country, ZIP code etc that you can add in to the visualization all together to generate a map. I think Street Addresses alone won't give accurate results as there will be many street names in common across the world, but combining them with city and country data should make it accurate.
