I connected the iOS version to OAC some time ago and did a little blog ( Oracle Day by Day App - Beyond Blog ) of that in operation - which also references a great 6 min video from Oracle.  Connecting was really straightforward and was just my IP/Port from OAC.  If you don't know that then you'll need to ask whomever looks after OAC for you.

I must admit that I just created some visuals in the D-by-D app itself rather than trying to share anything already created - the pallette of charts I recall being available at the time from the app was less than those available in DV

I've found this for you though - Oracle's latest (Nov 2017) guide to Day by Day, which I think you would find useful to read and shows how to connect in section 2 as you'll see from the index. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/biday/using-oracle-analytics-cloud-day-day.pdf

  • In addition to Mark answer above giving you hints on "Day by Day", keep in mind you can't connect "Day by Day" to your local DVD, because you are just missing a bit piece in between.

"Day by Day" connect to a cloud instance, DVD run on your own laptop / workstation. So you have first to publish your content to the cloud and once there then "Day by Day" can be used on it.

You are entirely right - I was taking a leap of faith that the OP was really referring to DV in OAC rather that DVD.
