Oracle BIP Report Error oracle.xdo.XDOException: java.lang.NullPointerException

Hi,

So i was having this error (oracle.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: java.lang.NullPointerException) randomly on a report which works fine if i have a bigger/full set of data. But when i try to limit the data (1 entry) via a prompt, it returns the said error. Im not sure if its the query (3 queries linked together via a key field) or if its something else (like configuration of the report). Can you guys give me an idea what might have caused this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Check with your admins they should be able to provide this log file.

When you are clicking view data in your data model are you able to see data ?

Hi Venkat,

I have tried to google search the log file that you mentioned. Is that log readily available online (Upon BIP Report run), or i have to engage our admins to get it for me? Thank you for replying to this thread.
