Loading and Retrieve Dates in Correct Format

Summary

Loading Dates formatted as mm/dd/yyyy type but they retrieve in scientific notation

The outline has the date type enabled.

The date fields that are loaded are tagged as date types.

Information loads correctly and I have confirmed the load file (.csv) has the dates formatted as mm/dd/yyyy.

When I go to retrieve (using the Dodeca Add-In), the dates retrieve in scientific notation (1.XXE+09) instead of mm/dd/yyyy.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and know a fix?

I may have solved this on my own, looks like the “Use Smartlist” option in Dodeca options needs to be enabled/checked.

Good idea, I just tested in SV and it retrieves as suspected so it appears to be a Dodeca issue :(

I would actually contact Applied Olap support (They are really good). My guess is in Dodeca, the cells are being set as numeric.. I would also double check in Smart View to make sure the issue is Dodeca
