Exporting data as image with BI Publisher - OS dependent

Hi,

We are using BI Publisher to export data into different formats such as html, jpg etc. We could see that while exporting the data in image format or if the data contains an image, then the output from BI Publisher is different in windows and linux. 

Anyone has any idea whether BI Publisher is OS dependant? Is this an expected behavior?
