Summary

Dashboard export is limited to 5,000 rows

Content

We're seeing a limit in an OAC (OCI Gen 2) Dashboard export of 5,000 rows. If I go directly to the Analysis, there is no limit. Is this expected behavior? Is there a limit that can be changed?

    Hello Jerry,

Row limits such as the maximum number of input rows you can return from a data source query or the maximum number of rows you can download from a report to a file (for example, when you export to a CSV file) are determined based on the number of OCPU's(Oracle Compute Units) you provision for your instance.

You can refer to the below doc to get more information on the row limits.

    Hope this helps!

This is not the issue. If I run a Analysis that returns, say, 5.200 records (well under the 125,000 records limit for an instance with 1 OCPU) and export that to Excel, I get all 5,200 rows. If I run the Analysis in a Dashboard I get the first 1,000 records, based on the limit in the Analysis settings. If I export to Excel, I get 1,000 records. If I click the double-headed arrow, I will get 5,000 records. If I export to Excel, I get 5,000 records.

Is it possible to get all rows to export from a Dashboard the way it is in an Analysis?

    Hi,

    Try this,

Edit Dashboard->Tools->Print Options->Print Rows should be set to 'All'
