Is there a way to add a currency ($) symbol to the graph of OBIEE?
Hello,
I am using Oracle OBIEE 11.1.1.7 and I have a graph that displays multiple lines (each line tracks different budgets). The x-axis is time (in months) and the y-axis is the amount in dollars ($).
I have already changed my variables to currency by editing column properties -> data format -> Treat Numbers as Currency.
However, whenever I hover over a data point in the graph, it shows the numeric number instead of a dollar amount with the dollar sign($) in front of it. Why is this happening and how can I fix it? Thanks!
P.S. The table shows the dollar signs correctly, I just can't get the graph to show the dollar signs.

Works in 11.1.1.9.x and 12.2.1.0.0. Don't have any old 11.1.1.7.x anymore.
Edit: Meh just realized you can't see the hover-over text in the screenshots. Redoing...

If you edited the column properties it should display fine in the graph. However, if it doesn't, you can also go to Edit graph properties -> Titles and Labels -> Formatting of data markers -> Number Format and set the currency symbol there as well, it should do the trick.

Hi,
I work on OBIEE 11.1.1.7.131017 and it's working fine both on table and graph.

And on the Bar Graph:

Or in Line Graph:

Maybe, try again to perform this operation.
