Complex filters - grouping 3 filters together

I want to create a complex filter which requires grouping 3 filters with another set of filters. I have played around clicking the AND / OR to get the combination, but it has not worked so far. Can someone point me in the right direction ?

This is what I am trying to achieve

Filter 1

AND

(

(Filter 2 AND Filter 3)

OR

(Filter 4 AND Filter 5 AND Filter 6)

)

    Have you tried "Converting this filter to SQL"?  I found this is the best way to group multiple filters.

    I did try converting it to SQL, however it only converts individual filters. Can you elaborate on how I can do this for the whole group of filters ?

    First create the filters separately and go in individually and copy the code and insert into one filter.  You can see the code by selecting the "Converting this filter to SQL" option.  I personally like to work in a text editor and copy/paste the filter into my reports.  Here's an example.

    Hope you can help, I created several custom filters that I use in my analyses and work completely fine if used and viewed in My Folders, however, as soon as I put them in a Shared Folder they break when others try to look at it (I still can see it). I created a dashboard that uses the analyses with the custom filters and that too broke same result as the analyses.  I have checked EVERYTHING!  Cannot for the life of me figure out why this is happening, to me seems to be related to permissions but I have mirrored the permissions.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
