OBIEE 12C Max Compatible JDK Version

Question

Hi All,

My team just installed OBIEE 12C (v12.2.1.0.0) and I want to know is there a max compatible JDK version? Right now we have JDK 8 update 65 (and I believe the minimum version is 8 update 20), but now the most recent JDK is 8 update 77 and we want to update the JDK version without impacting 12C. Thoughts?

Minor patches, ie JDK8 update xxx is always supported and it is recommended to be on the latest.
