When the OBIEE report is exported to Excel 2007 date columns are saved as text instead of date

Hi All,

When I am exporting OBIEE report into excel 2007 all the date fields are saved as text instead of date. How to resolve this issue. Please help with suggestions. With this the users are not able to sort or filter based on date fields.

Hi Srini,

we are using 11.1.1.7.140415 . Actually my case is when I am exporting my report which has date fields it is showing as below.

But when we apply filter on date fields we wanted to see as below.

When we export the analysis in 2003 it is working as expected. But in 2007+ it is not working. How can this be achieved in 2007+.

Please help me with suggestions .

this is fixed in Version 11.1.1.7.150120(Patch 20124371)
