Use of variables in selection steps

HI,

we are using hierarchial columns in reports. we are applying filters on hierarchical column by using selection steps.

i Would like to know is there anyway I can pass filter values in selection steps through variables?

I Don't see such options for selection steps. Can you tell me where can I see those options?

Hi,

Some selection steps have the option of "Can be overwritten by a prompt", in some others you find an option to use a presentation variable instead of a custom value. Presentation variables can be set by prompts.

Use those two options to achieve what you need.
