HCM BI Report - how to know who deleted BI report
Comments
-
Is it OTBI or BP report that was deleted?

either way - do you know if this information captured anywhere?
Unless, Oracle may restore from the catalog, etc..

Right now we dont have any audit capabilities in OBIEE for tracking role changes or report related changes. I believe only way would be to approach oracle to try to restore.

It is OTBI.

Hi Suyoung,
Have you read through this PDF?
Oracle BI Publisher Audit Reports.
I was able to identify the user who deleted a report by following this PDF guide.
Thanks

Hello Suyoung,
The existing audit catalog, following the Doc ID 2059102.1, is related to BI Publisher only and give you only the following audit features:
The following 6 reports are available as sample Reports built using Audit Data:
1. Audit Reports
a. Audit Data for Report Execution
b. Audit Data for Catalog Object Updates
2. Usage Reports
a. Hourly Concurrency
b. Report Execution-Time Metrics
c. Report Performance by Report Type
d. Runtime Statistics

Hi Suyoung,
In SaaS, the audit report is only capturing the "DELETE" event if the action is made from the /xmlpserver. If it's done from the /analytics server, this will not be reflected in the report.
We suggest you to create a new idea in Idea Lab on Customer Connect to have this functionality considered in the future. Other customers will vote for your idea, hence the likelihood of getting this idea implemented will be higher.Best regards,
Robert
