OBIEE 12c SampleAppv511: bi_server1 doesn't start

Question

Once installed OBIEE 12c SampleAppv511 successfully as its guide instructed on a Windows 7 host with 16 Gb RAM, and started the Database service, however, it is not possible to start the bi_server1 service, basically, this starting service runs forever, I tried to wait for a full day but this never started, and the VM hangs forever. I increased the VM RAM available from 6.2 Gb (as suggested by VM guide) until 12 Gb, but this didn't sort out this behavior.

Did anybody hit against this issue? or Were you able to work with this VM?

Apologize if I was not clear, the service never started and anything was written in the log file, basically the starting service is hanging while the CPUs are at 100%, I tried to follow the docs:

to improve the VirtualBox performance but they doesn't help.

OK, but my question remains - did you look at the log for bi_server1 to see where it gets to in the startup process? You can do this from the command line, you don't need a browser.

The VM is completely stuck, basically it is not possible to open a browser page, connecting to EM or do anything else in the VM.
