    It would be nice to have only the report name without template name as file name which gives a meaning name to the output file name when downloaded.

    the naming convention as just the report name in case if only one template exists.

    This is one of the very common requirement from customers. Users need a meaningful name of the report file generated from the system.

    We should be able to customize the report output file name. There are times when customer requires name suffixed by timestamp and a parameter also.

    this is a must have. Also make it easier for dynamic file name without using bursting. most of the time the user would like to download the file from the portal and they do not have access to FTP or want it email to them.

    I can't believe this hasn't been implemented in three years. Report name as the output file name is a step in the right direction, yes. Think a bit more outside the Oracle box though. We need the option to specify the output file name, and maybe just have it default to the report name if our BUSINESS NEED aligns to that.
