Secured views for Performance and Talent Management

Description

At present we are having the secured views for Core HR data (Position/Department/Assignment) only. Can we get the secured views for Performance and Talent data as well?

We have a scenario, where employee is having Core HR and Talent roles. The application security is working as expected where as in the report (we are using BI report as OTBI is taking more time and not suite for our customer requirement), the data is coming out of scope. 

Example: In one of the succession plan (Private), if user is not in Owners list, he/she was not able to access the succession plan from UI which is working as expected but when he/she run the report, are getting the data for the plans where they are not Owners at all.

Is there a way to build the report with Talent secured tables?

Use Case and Business Need

HR admin has data roles related to Core HR and Talent has different scope of access, in that case its not working as designated in report whereas its working fine in application/UI

  • Its very much needed especially for organisation to have proper data access in both application and BIP reports. Sometimes its very much needed because in WFA, we might need to provide full data scope whereas we need to restrict the data access in Talent module, we were able to achieve the same in application level through custom SQLS in person security profiles whereas its not possible in BIP because of less/no secured views  in Talent management module .
